Below is the Apple Crisp Classic Kit put together by Noel Mignon which was selected by Master Forger (design team member) Tina for the September challenge to counterfeit the kit elements for CKC blog:

CKC September counterfeit kit elements I have included are: wood grains, leaves, fruit, burlap/twine, greens, browns, reddish/russet browns, etc.

The card sketch is based on this layout design shown below by Page Maps. It was shared today in the FB group 100 Pattern Paper Challenge. I've got 3 rows of decorative tapes instead of using scraps of different printed papers at the top; Scripture verse instead of a photo; the weave of the burlap to replace the bottom vertical strips of print papers; the apple basket instead of the cat; the leaves instead of the journal spot.

The gold glitter tape alludes to the sweater color in the IB #36 photo prompt but conflicts with CCMWF, so I might make a similar one to this that uses purple glitter tape instead of the gold...hmm?

The 2nd decorative tape has a gold hexagon/honeycomb print on it which is hard to see; yet I like it because some of that variegated greens of the marbleized paper still come through.

This was a fun creative endeavor for me to achieve. The card was made in about 1 hour! And it's only my 3rd harvest/Thanksgiving card I've made for the American holiday in late November. I better get crafting some more!

Until next time, Becca S, from the USA heartland
