CKC and UYS blogs challenges with stars and sparkle in layout 1

Layout #1 featuring stars and sparkle with "Reach for the stars"

#337 challenge for Use Your Stuff blog is to use stars. In this showcased layout, I've used 3 different sets of star stickers. There are 4 puffy ones that offer some shine due to reflection. There is a star-print paper behind the top photo. There are black stars in a newspaper graphic border used vertically.

These papers, stickers, and base cardstock came from the November kit for CKC blog. Find the challenge #1 sprinkle and sparkle challenge at this link: The sparkle comes from the light shining off the 4 puffy 3-D stars. The metallic silver and white diagonal striped decorative tape adds more shine. The star border tape (a very old newspaper graphic tape from about 25-30 years ago) adds shine when the light hits the clear part of the tape.

The above photo is only about 1/3 of my November kit. The 9 papers shown in the bottom half are only like 6" x 8".

I tried to have three areas of star stickers. It didn't work for them to be in a triangle format but they are divided into 3 sections that snake from top left through the middle and down to the bottom right.
FAB-ulous layout!!!! I love how this scrapbook layout showcasing my niece Faith's 8th grade graduation turned out!!!!

Did you notice the 3 faded denim blue brads that form a triangle on the layout?
