purpose: this posting is for My Time To Craft Christmas challenge blog which I've been faithfully committed to for over 2 now since it started as a spin-off to MTTC, which I've been part of for over 4+ years! Every Friday morning these 2 alternate. That's a lot of cards!

when: #85 Winter Scenes theme competition starts April 26, 2024 for 13 days

what: Project #1 =Santa with ice skates collage image scene Christmas card

notes:

1. Santa on ice skates collage panel (includes the black and white buffalo plaid print = Simple Stories' Christmas Vintage Woods/Lodge; also include the tab stickers, round sentiment sticker, the holly sticker and pinecone sticker

2. white glitter foam snowflake and red glitter bow foam stickers = stash

3. red and white striped paper scrap = stash

4. green cardstock scrap strip = Art Skills

5. red and white buffalo plaid cardstock for base = The Paper Studio

6. silver metallic paint marker used to outline Santa's sign, black mittens, and black boots

Project #2: Happy Holidays with Rudolph and Santa

notes: winter scene on white circle disc was created with rub-on transfers!!

7. "HH", banner, Santa, 2 red snowflakes, & Rudolph = "A Perfect Christmas" set by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park (2017); 1x for me to use this set!!!!!

My MTTC #532 Everything Die-cuts Theme DT card for 19 April 2024

purpose: this posting's make is for my DT/manager commitment to My Time To Craft challenge blog

when: #532 starts April 19, 2024 and will last for 13 days

what: #532 theme is everything die-cuts; I tried to follow that except for the brown base, green background, large yellow circle and 2 small orange print circles (papers/cardstocks)

"Sharing Moments" card

 notes:

1. brown and green cardstocks = Art Skills

2. orange print papers = Stampin' Up

3. yellow cardstock = Neenah

4. black and white buffalo plaid wood laser type die-cut rabbit (came from a garland set) = bought at D.T.; added eyelashes and also inked the wood cut sides/edges

5. die-cuts from "Life Captured" by Simple Stories are: pea green with white dot tag strip, and the 'moments' tag/label

6. die-cuts from "My Story" by Simple Stories are: 'sharing' cut from a larger die-cut sentiment, 3 flowers/clusters, 1 bird; note: 'sharing' text was white but used black marker to color

7. black ink edging and outlining on papers, die-cuts, and cardstocks = Art Skills' dual-tip permanent black marker

MY card has insects and flowers because I love florals. Years ago I heard that you should think of butterflies as floating flowers.
