My August 2024 Halloween and Other Occasions DT projects

purpose: this posting showcases my design team involvement with HCAYR that has revised its competitions and name to HAOOCAYR for Halloween And Other Occasions Crafts All Year Round

when: August 1, 2024; always a monthly theme is Halloween and now part of the revision 'birthday'; extra occasion theme for August is Summer and Friendship/Romance 

what: PROJECT #1 Halloween



notes:

1. brown waffle knit bronze/copper specialty paper = stash

2. red cardstock panel = Neenah

3. scarecrow and leaves = fussy cut from Autumn/Harvest/Halloween iconic images collage scrapbook/display 12 " square sheet = Crafter's Square

4. black permanent ink dual-tip marker = Art Skills

5. roller type detail fine tip black pen to write "Happy Halloween" = stash

6. dimensional foam tape is under scarecrow

what: PROJECT #2 Birthday



notes:

1. bright magenta pink tinsel trim = Petaloo

2. cording = stash

3. pink checked, blue checked and "Enjoy Your Day" card that was trimmed down to fit = Fancy Pants Designs

4. pale pink, bright pink and orange dotted star stickers = old; stash

5. scrap of yellow and white print = old; SU

6. yellow cardstock base = Art Skills

what: PROJECT #3 Summer (large butterfly)


notes:

1. pink cardstock base is not quite a 5" x 5.5" = stash

2. green paper trimmed with decorative scissors = Crafter's Closet

3. washi tape = vendor ?; sorted into different stash boxes without its packaging

4. bird and birdhouse print paper punched = ?; very old stash item scrap

5. 'just a note' with dotted line stamps = ?; not sure if SU due to being in an unmarked zip plastic bag received in a kindness box

6. layered butterfly with foam tape = Crafter's Square

what: PROJECT #4 friendship


notes:

1. white cardstock base = Neenah

2. ink pads = SU; Island Indigo and just a bit of Dapper Denim near the large firefly; smaller panel has Always Artichoke on the perimeter and Lemon Lime Twist in the center

3. jar of fireflies and large firefly = recycle/upcycle images from an envelope of solicited mail

4. text/phrase cut into individual sections on more white cardstock by Neenah; yellow marker with an old metallic gold crayon around the edges; dimensional foam tape 

5. striped woven ribbon was cut to length, knotted and then each half cut into fourths = old; bought at Hobby Lobby
