Christmas or Not Bingo DT #8 July 1 using Column N project

purpose: this posting showcases my newest DT contribution to Christmas or Not Bingo Challenges blog; a couple of prior competitions ago, owner Leslie expanded the bingo boards to be used/open to other occasions besides Christmas; I've personally decided to stick with Christmas topics for my cards 

when: #8 starts July 1 and ends August 15, 2024

what: using Column N (masculine, enamel dots, free, teal, and fancy fold)

notes:

1. masculine=  trying to keep a mid-darker wintery tones; not overly embellished

2. enamel dots = skipped/didn't use

3. free = tag inserts, puffy dots and stars, different types of stickers

4. teal = lots of varying teal tones from light-mid-dark pine

5. fancy fold = pocket folds on cover and 2 insert pages for the top-folded booklet card

6. Sande Woodson= thanks for all the Nordic Winter scenes in teal and the 'hugs' in teal from sentiment from your freebies/group subscription last December

7. epoxy stickers (snowman and a snowflake) = Bella Blvd

8. puffy stars and dots = Freckled Fawn

Christmas or Not Bingo Challenges #7 DT Project for May 1 to June 15

purpose: Christmas or Not Bingo Challenges blog's #7 competition is one of my co-owner/DT commitments. I've chosen again to stick with a Christmas occasion card. See the bingo card below for #7 column options you can pursue. 

when: #7 competition period goes from May 1-June 15, 2024

what: "all I want for Christmas is us" card

notes: my column choices come from "I"

1. free= checked ginghams and gems

2. stripes = on the sentiment tag, in the pink-ivory-deep raspberry striped and some wavy lines looking like stripes in the other paper

3. monochrome = pinks with some white and a bit of black neutrals

4. tag = 2 tags layered on each other with 1 being a die-cut/ephemera

5. no stamping = in my stash was the sentiment lined list type die-cut and used glitter foam stickers in pale pink to spell "us"

6. pink cardstock = Neenah/Astrobrights

7. pink and white checked gingham paper = Hot Off The Press

8. other papers = old stash scraps

9. sentiment tag die-cut ephemera = Simple Stories Holly Jolly

10. ribbon, lettering, iridescent gems = Crafter's Square

purpose: this posting showcases my DT/co-owner contribution to the #6 competition for Christmas (or not) Bingo Challenges blog; the wonderful and delightfully talented Leslie T does all the work for the blog

when: #6 competition starts March 1, 2024 and ends April 15, 2024; the bingo board image will be seen further down in this post

what: Shiny Glittery Blue Christmas wishes

(column O = blue, free, smooshing, distressing, and no stamping) 

below: closeup to see the distressed edges on the paper's edges using the blade of scissors along with the smooshed paint on the circle focal backdrop (blue metallic acrylic paint and silver/gray metallic acrylic paint)

notes:

1. sticker labels/sentiments = Simple Life Vintage Woods by Simple Stories

2. blue and silver foil snowflake 'dazzles'/stickers = Hot Off The Press

3. bright blue cardstock for the base = Neenah

4. the mid-blue glittery specialty paper has bright pink glitter top application = scrap cut = D.T. (also the trimmed silver and blue tag focal)

5. stencil template was used for the circle focal backdrop = (old) Pebbles; the black 'film reel openings' marks were part of the stencil template; with all the blues and silvers, those black marks help visually create some definition

6. distressing on all cardstocks/papers with scissors blade

7. paint smooshing on circle backdrop accomplished using a scrunched textured paper towel
