why: The purpose of this post is sharing 2 new owner/design team member projects for HQFCB or Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges Blog. Project #1 is the last month to have a focus option theme of Angel(s). Project #2 is my AGF theme choice of gnomes. 

when: #12 Anything Goes Fantasy theme starts December 3 and ends on Dec 31, 2026.

what: Project #1 = Fantasy focus option for December is Angel

how-to & vendor notes for #1 =

1. white glitter CS base cut to 5" square from a 12" square sheet = 1 of 4 glitter CS in pack = Crafter's Square

2. red CS panel cut from a 12" square sheet = 1 of 4 solid color CS sheets in pack = Crafter's Square (and the sentiment scrap cut)

3. white chalk marker = Crafter's Square

4. 'wishes' traced/inked using a plastic stencil sheet = Crafter's Square

5. black fine point marker pen = Sharpie

6. a variety of colored pencils = stash box

7. white CS panel was cut from full sheet used in printer = Georgia Pacific

8. angel digital image = QKRS (old company; might still be for sale)

9. enamel dots and stars of different colors are different packs = Freckled Fawn

10. little red, yellow and green star stickers from a sheet/pack with addt'l colors = ?/maybe Hallmark or American Greetings

11. thick foam adhesive tape strips are under the angel focal panel to lift it up

why: This posting shows my latest contribution to My Time To Craft (MTTC) that I manage and am part of the design team. Another team member has suggested we do a round/circle shape-based cards for our 2nd in the series. 

when: #558 starts April 18 and lasts for 13 days!

what: Oh Happy Day-ffodil card!!!

how-to notes:

1. ivory cardstock cut round (used a dessert plate) = Neenah

2. soft yellow cardstock cut 1/8" smaller than the ivory = Neenah

3. plaid paper cut into a smaller circle = Recollections

4. banner, plant bundle, 2 gnomes stickers = Enchanted Gardens 12"x12" sticker sheet = Fancy Pants Designs

5. raised sentiment banner = Thickers

post's purpose...the why: This posting showcases three design team projects for Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges Blog. I took over the ownership about 3 years ago! Wow! Time has quickly rolled along! The main theme is always anything goes fantasy and the #4/April focus option is UNICORN. I've got two AGF choices and 1 focus option unicorn cards. 

when: #4 in 2025 for HQFCB starts April 5, 2025 and ends on April 30, 2025.

what: PROJECT #1 = "Crazy, weird spring weather!" card

notes for #1:

1. mid-blue tone cardstock; started as 6" square then trimmed to 5.5" square = Art Skills

2. designer paper and image are both from same set = The Paper Shelter

3. sentiment hand-lettered using dark brown marker pen = Zebra Clickarts 

4. the designer paper came pre-colored; the image has options in the set/zip file to use a pre-colored or ink outline; I chose the ink outline and used colored pencils = Crazy Art, Crayola, and Marvy Uchida mix from my stash

5. mid-blue tone enamel dots = Freckled Fawn

My MTTC #552 masculine theme thinking of you DT card on 24 January 2025

why: This post focuses on my newest themed DT project for My Time To Craft challenge blog. MTTC's #552 theme is masculine (make it male). Another design team member suggested this topic. It should be very popular. I decided to go colorful, geometric prints, flat and no 'frills'. 

when: MTTC's #552 starts on Friday January 24, 2025 and lasts for 13 days.

what: #552 theme is masculine = Hey! Hello! thinking of you card

notes: this will be sent to a cousin who is battling Parkinson's and needs some cheering up; he grew up about 20-25 miles where I live now; his parents are still there however he's been living the past 30 or so years about 3-4 states away. 

1. base = Wild Blueberry cardstock = CutCardStock

2. next layer up = Sandcastle cardstock = Martha Stewart through CutCardStock

3. next focal layer = Pop Tone Grape Jelly cardstock = CutCardStock

~~ fun fact for the past 2-3 weeks = lots of frequent snowstorms and/or flurries; the most was 6"; this week there was a 2-3" and then a 1.5"-2" in the past 24 hours. 

~~ the not so good fact was a few days of below zero*F temps; we got down to -25* F wind chill for 2 days in a row and then several with down to -10*F...ugh...3 pairs of socks!
