purpose: This posting is a rarity for me this year to have a creative project not be for one of my own competition blog commitments! It really gives a spark to my creative thoughts!! YEA!

what: Thank You Harvest Season Card

notes:

1. kraft base A2 card with matching envelope = Crafter's Square

2. print paper square = from Vintage Christmas Lodge by Simple Stories

3. pumpkin brad accents =  from Faboolous collection by Simple Stories

4. # puffy stickers = Freckled Fawn

5. label sticker for sentiment area = Freckled Fawn

6. plaid paper for the background = SU

7. black ink pad = Hero Arts

8. yellow crystal gems = Crafter's Square

9. 'thank you' self-inking stamper = old stash item; due to glossy surface of the label, I went over with a black permanent marker and then a red one...not the best but it's okay

Ally's Angels #74 Anything Goes Theme starting 10 September 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! My heart's excited about using another section from the 2 sheets of  identical overlays from "Hello World" by Allison Kreft Designs from Webster Pages!! These acrylic sheet with cut-apart sections/panels have been stored in my stash for over 3 years!!!

WHAT: Ally's Angels #74 Anything Goes theme challenge blog

WHEN: #74 starts on September 10, 2023 for 1 month

SHOW and TELL:

1. "Happy Little Moments" acrylic panel cut from "Hello World" 12" square sheet; Allison Kreft Designs from Webster Pages; a black permanent marker used on the upper white scalloped border so that is would show 

2. 'love' striped journal/cut-apart card from My Mind's Eye; love outlined with a fine detail tip black pen; 3 colored pencils used to make white stripes into orange, green and yellow (same colors as text print on the acrylic);  

3. three layers of background paper/cardstocks

4. layered butterfly stick-on; from a multiple color and size package bought at Dollar Tree

Creative Artists challenge blog; current; anything mixed media goes; MY card has an acrylic overlay; I altered it by using a black marker to darken the scalloped "curtain" print on the overlay; the cut-apart card had 3 colored pencils used to color-fill the white stripes and repeat the colors of the lettering/phrasing printed on the overlay plus I outlined the 'love' to help define it more under the overlay; gems and a butterfly were added for accents

Paper Craft Crew challenges; current; vertical sketch; MY card's stacked sentiment on the overlay "Happy Little Moments" has "love" printed on the cut-apart card underneath that if off-set and gives a staggered look like the sketch; also the gems duplicate the top right circles and the butterfly's location is different than the bottom left circles but it does give an accent near the bottom of the sketch/card
