My Ally's Angels #111 design team AG theme project on 15 Oct 2026

who: I'm Becca S, a 60+ year old crafting blogger, who confesses that her stenciling and inking skills still need some development. The flowers and leaves on this showcased card are from a new to me 'simple coloring stencil set' called Cozy Mornings by Altenew. Using their packaging illustrations I've tried to add veining, some curled petal edges, center stamens, etc. 

where: This card is for my owner/design team commitment to Ally's Angels, a crafting challenge blog. 

when: #111 is published on October 15, 2026 and will stay open until November 12, 2026. 

why: A couple years ago, I became a silent co-owner and a design team member of Ally's Angels when the previous owner gave it up. Then the active co-owner/administrator stepped down after a year or so. So then I became the active owner for this 'anything goes theme' challenge blog. 

what: "Giving Thanks" card

how:

1. kraft A2 size card w/ envelope = from pack = Crafter's Square

2. peach paper = scrap box

3. zig-zag decorative scissors = Wescott

4. orange and white cording = part of a 3-color spool pack = Crafter's Square

5. black, orange, purple, green, red markers = Crayola

6. Pea Green alcohol ink marker = Arteza (lighter green leaves on the largest flower)

7. Guava (largest flower), Pumpkin Spice (smaller flowers), Chocolate Chip (centers) stamp pads/ink using textured toilet paper to apply on stencils = Lawn Fawn stamp pads

8. alphabet stencil ruler = very old find at my mom's house 2-2.5 years ago and is now part of my craft supplies

9. green, red, black gel ink pens = Paper Mate's Ink Joy four-color set for detailing on flowers and leaves
