Today's posting features "Good Tidings" Christmas card made for design team commitment at The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge Blog! 

#127 starts November 1, 2022. THICC's Anything Christmas Goes for their every other Tuesday new competitions. 

A few design and vendor notes: (1) white scalloped flat base card = The Paper Studio; (2) most of the patterned cardstocks are from Fancy Pants Designs; (3) green cardstock, orange gems, vintage gold and black stamp pads, sentiment stamp are stash items.

MTTC #493 Theme is Things with Wings DT card

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! Oh, my heart and soul gets excited when an autumn season is cool-warm and you can enjoy long sleeves, lightweight sweaters, and hoodies! Looks like this might be the year for a great fall! 

It was a bit shaky with a frightening 96 degrees on the Tuesday before the 1st day of fall. Then 2 days later overnight temps dropped into the upper 40s! And the weather has continued to be a roller coaster. Leaf colors are at their peak this 3rd week of October. But instead of doing a Halloween bat or crow winged project I decided to go with a dove Christmas card. Competition starts October 21 and ends November 3 for My Time To Craft's #493 theme.

Peace on Earth:

Notes: the silver and white snowflakes are 'dazzles' from Paper Wishes website; the decorative tape might be Scotch brand but I'm not sure; the others have been in my scraps or stash supply boxes

Simple yet unified by colors and lets the dove show well against that gorgeous silver and white holly specialty textured paper. Below the dove in very fine script is "Peace on Earth".

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! My heart is always excited when I get to use my creative skills to paper-craft! Crafting Christmas cards ranks up there in my top 5 favorite formats/occasions! This Christmas card is for The Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenges blog #125 that starts October 4, 2022. 

THICC is an always anything Christmas goes type theme published every 2 weeks on Tuesdays. 

Merry Everything Card=

Did you notice the little ornaments hanging below the vertically-run washi tape? There are 2 washi tapes used on this, 4 patterned papers with 3 coming from The Paper Studio/Hobby Lobby, and the 2 sizes of silver embossed snowflake stickers have all been in my Christmas stash boxes for many years! The TPS papers say 2016 on them!!!

10 June 2022 MTTCC #36 Theme is Candles and or Lanterns DT cards

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog! The last few years I've really enjoyed creating Christmas cards throughout the year! Getting them ready for mailing is a whole other ballgame!!! Does anyone else experience that? 

This posting features candle or lantern-themed Christmas cards for My Time To Craft Christmas challenge blog. I'm on the design team and these cards are also shown on MTTCC posting (link will be included below). Challenge #36 competition starts June 10 and goes to June 23, 2022. Make sure to check the challenges every 2 weeks for a new topic. We try to provide different wintery and festive themes to help you create a variety of holiday cards. 

Card #1 was crafted to sort of look like the outer view of the front door of a house or cabin. With lanterns on each side and a greenery arrangement in the center. Both patterned cardstocks and ephemera are from the Cottage Christmas collection by Fancy Pants Designs (2018). 

Card #1 Lighting Your Way Home For Christmas card=

Red ink was applied to all cardstock edges except for the light kraft flat card base (from The Paper Source website). The red metallic foil dazzles (MC) are from Paper Wishes website.

Card #2= Blessed Advent--Tis the Season To Rejoice Christmas card=

A few design and vendor notes: the light kraft flat card base with matching envelope are from The Paper Source website; the solid and patterned papers are scraps; the 2 die-cuts/ephemera are from Echo Park's Away in a Manger collection; the sheer ribbon was white and was altered with a green glitter paint pen; top background papers' edges were inked in blue

Didn't both cards turn out to be lovely? Festive without being too fussy.
