why: This post showcases my newest owner/design team fantasy projects for Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenges blog (HQFCB). The theme is anything goes fantasy. No fantasy focus option for 2026...just do anything fantasy. I've got an angel for project #1 (same image from December just colored in different color palette) and a gnome spotlighted from his forest home for project #2.

why: this posting focuses on my latest design team project for Deanne's Paper Rocks Scissors challenges blog. The theme is use paper and/or scissors. For #13/Feb 2026 I used 3 paper products and then used scissors to cut the base paper. Also not showing, I used scissors for adhesive dual-sided tape strips.

**papers: white satin sheen paper for the base; envelope used for a design feature; and the mini card

**scissors: used to cut the white satin sheen paper for the size needed; not showing are the usages for cutting strips of dual-sided adhesive tape

1. white satin sheen specialty paper = trimmed to be 2-3/8th wider = came in a scraps pack = Crafter's Square

2. envelope (not used as an envelope but more like a design feature and unique location for the stamped sentiment) and the note paper style mini card with flower = both from Round Trip stationery pack by Maggie Holmes 2021; American Crafts

3. 'just a note' stamp = came in a mixed expressions clear stamp set in an unmarked bag

4. brown/Walnut mini stamp pad = Lawn Fawn (for stamping)

6. a dark brown marker to outline the mini card and the envelope = stash item

My Pin-spirational #334 DT project with red and pink color theme on 1 Feb 2026

why: This posting spotlights my second design team project for Pin-spirational Challenges owned by artisan/blogger friend Deanne. The themes in 2026 are color combinations. Pin-spirational #334 color combo = red and pink. I've used more pink tones than reds but the reds are there in the dots of the scalloped border and outlining of the border and chain of hearts. There is a small spot in the watercolor swirled print CS that gets close to dark red just above the light pink heart on the right side. In person, there are neon pinks so the contrast of tones is greater. 

when: #334 starts on February 1, 2026 and ends on Feb 28; which is the last day in February this year (no leap year).

I'm using the same 2 stamps that I did for AA #101 but the plants/frame stamp were inked with brown and TOY was the same blue, however the focal CS and base CS were lime green!

why: This posting shares another My Mondrian Mondays Journal Notebook entries after about 3 weeks or so holiday break. We've done some traveling and I've done some reading. Taking time away from the craft table and computer. I took time on Sunday to get the design made in pencil and then early this morning after letting our Mister Bennett out for a break, I did the gray marker pen overlay over all the design lines. Mandalas are something that artisan blogger friend Lauren Bergold does on Mondays. She's done these for years in journals, cards, index cards, etc. She's always experimenting to create new variations. And this time, I was trying to give a nod to Mandalas plus keep a bit of famous artist Piet Mondrian straight lines and color blocking from his famous compositions into today's design. why: The purpose of this posting is to showcase my latest owner/design team member project for Christmas or not Bingo Challenges, a crafting centered blog that has a bingo board of element choices. For each project, the rule is to select 1 column and then 3 or more of the elements in that column. 

when: #17 starts on January 1, 2026 and lasts for 6 weeks; ending on February 15, 2026. 

what: Project #1 = Column O

how-to & vendor notes for #1: from Column O elements: I used rectangles, faux stitching, free (enamel dots, chipboard and 2 stickers), and patterned paper

1. Snow Pine Lodge Collection by Simple Stories 2024 = base CS, journal/focal card (cut-a-part), tree chipboard sticker and 2 houses stickers [new to me; just received order through Peachy Cheap on Dec 26 or Dec 27!!!]

2. Heart Eyes/enamel dots also Simple Stories = in 4 color tones

3. Sharpie = fine tip black marker for faux stitching

4. Hero Art = black stamp pad for perimeter inking on the base

how-to & vendor notes for #2 = Column G using 4 of the 5 elements: Valentine, red, free (inking, stamping, puffy stickers, punch) and gem; I used the 'ticket' punch rather than die-cuts or ephemera.

1. from Crafter's Square

a. ivory folded card with fold on top horizontal side; also the 'ticket' shape punch-out also used for the stamping; adhered in the middle

b. red CS panel for the inside

c. white posies layered stickers; centers were orange; covered with several red tone markers

d. red heart shape gem (from a large pack)

e. 'you are sweet' is from a multiple expressions clear stamp set 

2. small outline heart and mid-size black heart clear stamps = "Never Grow Up" stamp set by Shimelle/American Crafts

3. red with small black dot paper scrap punched = ?/don't remember the vendor; it's been in my scraps stash piles for awhile; these are adhered on the surface

4. red alcohol marker by Arteza

5. red permanent ink marker by Art Skills

My first Pin-spirational DT member inspiration project on 1 Jan 2026

 Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!

why: The purpose of this posting is to highlight my first design team project for Pin-spirational Challenges! And owner Deanne's on #333. For 2026, she has color combinations and the required colors need to be dominant/prominent. I grabbed a lavender and aqua blue with white plaid paper, a jumbo layered flower stick-on and some CS for the main elements of my DT card. A sentiment and a few heart accents finish it simply and prettily. 

when: January 1, 2026 is start date for Pin-spirational #333. 

what: Project #1 = blue and purple duo colors for theme ==> Happy Day

how-to & vendor notes for #1 =

1. lavender + white + aqua plaid paper = Recollections

2. jumbo purple layered flower stick-on = Crafter's Square

3. mid-blue paper scrap = Colorbok

4. mid-blue CS cut to 5" x 6.75" = Astrobrights/Neenah

5. blue-purple buffalo plaid CS scrap for sentiment = I think it's from a summer theme paper pack by Riley & Co.

6. stencil for 'happy day' = part of a birthday/celebration theme sheet = Crafter's Square

7. puffy heart stickers in blue and purple tones = part of a multicolor pack = Hello Hobby /Walmart

8. black fine tip marker = Sharpie (for outlining and stenciling)
